What is website support?
Website support is a retainer-based service that allows a business owner to outsource CSS fixes, graphics work, content updates, and theme wrangling.
You’ll prepay for a set of hours up front, which don’t expire. After the work is complete, you’ll get a summary of what was done and any follow-up work that may be recommended or required.
You will also receive an invite to the Transmogrifiers Slack channel, where you can spend some of your down time hobnobbing with fellow business owners and posting GIFs.
This is for you if:
You have a site you’re happy with, but don’t have the time or other resources for ongoing maintenance.
You have the revenue to offload some work to a subcontractor.
You like having an ongoing relationship with someone who’s invested in keeping your site up and running.
Cost & Timeline
Cost: $75/hour, billed on retainer; payable by PayPal (I accept a few other digital forms of payment as well, so please ask if you can’t or don’t use PayPal)
Let’s talk about pricing — click here to read the rate guidelines I use, and why I’m pricing my work to better service historically oppressed minorities: POC, LGBTQIA+, and low-income people.
Timeline: varies by client
How to get website support:
Go to the website work request form, fill it in, and select Website Support from the checkboxes. I’ll respond shortly with answers to any questions you send in, and provide you a payment link after you let me know what type of payment you can use, and how many hours you want to purchase to get started.
